Rest Bay Beach
Just 20miles from Cardiff is the popular surfing beach of Rest Bay. If your up for some activity or to sit on the sandy shore its a great spot.

Pebble Beach
Just 9miles southwest of Cardiff this is a steep stoney shoreside flanked with hilly walks. There are dozens of cafes to get stuck into some delicious fish & chips.

Sandy Bay
Located in the sleepy village of Southern-down. There are 3 beaches from this village, Coney Beach being the sandy and most popular.

Three Cliffs Bay Beach
This beautiful beach and coastline is in Swansea so a little further away but well worth the trip. 

Penarth Beach
This has the feeling of a very traditional Victorian seaside holiday. The restored art deco pavilian and pier is a must visit.

Tresilian Bay
This is relatively wild beach thanks to the sweeping chalk cliffs and shingle shores. Dogs are welcome all year round.
